Looking to get a replacement for Dell XPS 9-cell battery but don't want to pay $170. Can you recommend a third-party brand I can order from a reputable website like Newegg(they don't have battery for my laptop)?

I've looked at Denaq.com but not sure I can trust them yet. Thanks.

Maybe not what you're looking for but Ebay is usually good for batteries.

The following site is recommended in a lot of threads for 3rd part batteries:

    http://www.calcellular.com

I have no experience with them. Just relaying what I have seen recommended.

The problem with off brand batteries is that they can come from any factory at any time. Todays good deal/perfectly functioning battery could be tomorrows Hot Lithium Metal Fireball of Death.

There is no way to tell.

They usually don't blow up or destroy your data, but many generic batteries have cells made in China that simply do not match the performance advertised to the customer, or do not charge at all. Sometimes, these batteries don't report their charge at all.
