This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Anyone purchange an external HD by Beyond Micro? I'm looking to buy a rather inexpensive external hd and theirs was quite cheap but I'm not too sure how reputable they are in quality and build.

    Is it cheaper than a DIY solution? If not, you are better of buying an enclosure and an HDD and just building it yourself. That way you get to choose a better quality/reliabilty HDD.
