    Hello,

    I'm looking for an external drive with at least 1.5 TB. The drive has to be bus powered so it is going to be a 2.5" drive.

    So far, Seagate with its 14.8mm thick drive is the only one that I know.

    Are there other drives available or expected to be released soon and when are 2 TB drives expected?

    USB 2.0 would be fine for my needs.

    Largest bus powered drive that I know if is a 1TB, unless you get an enclosure yourself and go eSATA/USB combo port or dual USB. I didn't even know a 1.5TB 2.5" hard drive existed.

    2.5 inch drives bigger than 1TB don't exist yet.

    That Samsung 1.5TB External is 2.5" but thicker than most drives

    1TB drives of regular thickness should hopefully arrive this year.
