    Howdy everyone,

A couple of days ago my Asus C90 (which I've had problems with since I got it, different stuff, here and there) decided not to start up on me. It powers on, I here the fans going like on a normal start up, but the Asus logo and the subsequent screens never appear! What's up with that?

I initially thought it was a ram issue. So, I swapped out that with another stick: nothing. My second thought is that it's a hard drive issue. Any other possibilities?

    Thanks.

Try accesing the BIOS and see what's not detected right. If you can't find the problem, disable the ASUS logo, and quick boot. This should run some tests and give you a result.

Take out all removable parts(RAM, HDD, Optical Drive, etc), put in a new stick of RAM, and see if it'll boot into the BIOS.

If it does, use proccess of elimination to see which part is malfunctioning. If it doesn't boot, it'll be easier just to take it to a computer shop and have them fix it.
