    none is out yet so if you got a dell you're still kinda screwed

    don't worry they are in the process of making expresscard bluetooth adaptors

    in the mean time you can get usb BT adapters

    it's just the expresscard is a new PCMCIA so its still not mainstream yet though they are becoming more mainstream by the day

    EDIT: i mean if you got a dell and was stupid like me to no get intergrated BT

    It's foolish to waste your expresscard slot on a low bandwidth device like bluetooth. Find a USB bluetooth adapter, they're everywhere.

    With all due respect, no, it's not.

    Two reasons:

    USB bluetooth adapters can break off more easily, and need to be removed to store the laptop, whereas there is no reason an ExpressCard couldn't remain entirely within the laptop.

    My laptop has four external USB ports, I use them all when I'm parked in a hotel room -- I currently have no use at all for the Express Port -- Throwing a useful component there would mean I don't need a USB hub if I want all devices connected (And I generally do -- I'm charging devices, more then transferring data, so I can't just alternate)

    Just curious how it work out? I've been looking for a bluetooth expresscard for some time. I looked for one on ebay, but the one I found I couldn't find any info about the manufacturer. What brand did you get and does it work?
