I have a laptop and play a lot of Call of Duty 4 and Call of Duty 1. Im also bringing my laptop to school and stuff (when it starts again) and would really rather not have a usb drive sticking out from my laptop, just in case it gets hit. So, has anyone used a laser bluetooth mouse for gaming? Mouse tracking is VERY important to me as i love FPS. I really would not like to spend more then $50 if possible. Any help would be great.

I'd get a wired mouse to be honest. Logitech G5 or MX518. Bluetooth mice tend to be more flaky then RF wireless mice.

If you are a real serious gamer I don't think a Bluetooth mouse would be right for you. Bluetooth mice can have a lag delay where it tries to reassociate with the computer if not moved for a few seconds. If this happens to you in the middle of a FPS game, it is a serious problem(though I think this has gotten much better with Bluetooth 2.0). I think most people here will say to you that bluetooth mice and gaming don't go together.

However, if your are casual gamer, I think it should be fine, especially in RPG and RTS type games. I don't know how serious a gamer you are, that will determine what kind of mouse you would be happy.

For example, I am a casual gamer who plays FPS, RPG and RTS games. I was thinking of going with a wired mouse, but decided to go wireless. It was the best decision I made. I love not having a cord and the mouse works perfectly with all my games including DOOM3 and my needs. So for me it is great. Hardcore gamers however swear by their wired mice.
