I been noticing lately that my Bluetooth CW725 in my Dell 1525 that I bought used for some odd reason that when it is started from a complete shutdown doesn't detect a bluetooth module nor recognize there is a bluetooth mouse present but if I restart it will load the Bluetooth software and find the microsoft Bluetooth mouse. The Bluetooth module was the matching unit of which the dell didn't have but could be expanded to. The Bluetooth module CW725 is a used module and was wondering could it be the module is not working anymore? Or should I get a new module to see if the problem of not loading the Bluetooth software when it starts from a complete shutdown. The second replacement one I got from them did the same thing as well and it was also used.

Reporting back I think I found was was going on if your transporting your laptop that has a bluetooth mouse. I turned off my mouse and then turned it on when I was ready to use it on the laptop after powering the laptop back on and everytime now the bluetooth mouse and laptop would connect. Don't know why leaving it on and shutting the laptop off and back on but if you do power off the mouse and then power it back on when powering on the laptop it seems to fix the problem and both would connect.

You can usually reset it by powering down the machine, unplugging it and removing the battery for a few seconds.

I think removing the battery defeated the purpose of having always on and working bluetooth not to mention if you loose the battery or miss place it taking the battery out. -

You have a wireless mouse yet can loose a larger object in the few seconds you remove it? Plus it usually happens on a restart so make sure its working first lol.

Do you have the latest driver?
Did you try deleting and re-installing the driver? -

I done all that and re-installing. Problem exist if you leave the BT mouse on and power down and back on it doesn't properly connect to the BT mouse that was left on. And the only fix was to also to turn the BT mouse off and back on when the laptop was turned on. That is quirk I found with BT mouse and the laptop it is connected to. -

I don't get your first line there??? Could you clarify what you mean larger object? Restart didn't connect my BT mouse only when you also switched off the BT mouse and turn back on the BT mouse during restart did both connect again and work properly.
