What kind of quality can I expect my HP DV5T laptop with Bluray drive to output via HDMI?

I have a very nice 1080P HDTV however I haven't purchased a Bluray player for my TV yet, so I'm wondering: if I choose the Bluray upgrade on my laptop will I be able to play all my Bluray discs from my laptop and watch them in perfect quality (1080P) on my TV (via the HDMI output obviously)?

    Appreciate the help!

    Uh.... Yes.

But wasn't that already apparent by the presence of the HDMI output?

You'll have to toggle the display mode however. Usually toggled with a combination of the Function keys.
