I'm just wondering if it is possible to increase the bass of my laptop/desktop without making a hardware modification such as new soundcard or new speakers that have a subwoofer.

I know of the changes you can make to your sound settings and equalizer adjustments, but is there anything with more oomph than that?

I'm pretty sure it's like trying to 'drive without a car', but hey just wanted to see if anyone has any ideas.

    Thanks very much.
