I bought the Asus N80series model N80vm and i have a core 2 duo 2.27 cpu, i was wondering if this labtop was capable of getting a new processor of 2.8 or more. I'm also not very impressed with the GeForce 9600m GS 1 gig, I'm sure i cannot change they graphics card on it although.

Since you have a 45-Series chipset, you should be able to use any of the normal Socket P processors, right up through the T9600.
