    Hey all,

I'm new here. I tried searching my laptop but didn't come up with that I was looking for.

Laptop: Toshiba Satellite l355d-s7815 (model: PSLE8U-00M00W)

Long story short: I was flashing the BIOS through Win 7 when the laptop froze. Subsequently, the laptop is now dead. I created a bootable dvd with the BIOS software on it, however, since there is no BIOS I don't think I can even use that.

I did hear something about a BIOS key combo your supposed to press to boot from the CD. I have tried C, U, the Function key, F2 and F12 with no luck. I am assuming this key combo only works if you have a functional BIOS.

So, am I screwed to the point where I need to replace the mobo, or is there some other method I may be able to try.

    TIA!
