Hey gang, I was thinking of buying a Dell XPS 730x and when I saw the $1,999 price tag I felt I could do much better building it myself as I usually do anyways. I've been on my E6750 rig for 2 years now and felt it's time for an upgrade so this time i'm looking at a AMD Phenom II x4 beast setup. Of course I could always be swayed by the experts here but I think this is currently the best bang for the buck. Some of the parts also don't reflect rebates. The power supply is $159 with a $60 rebate.

OK my only question(s) from this core setup is the memory. The memory is setup for a triple channel Intel rig but the mobo i'm looking at is dual channel and I plan to install 6GB (3x2) of Ram. Will it work on this mobo I picked and will I be able to use all 6GB with Windows 7 (64bit) OS?

I'm looking at going with an ATI card this time because of it's compatibility with AMD. I'll be addressing that later. Also I have a Lian-Li ATX case I might reuse and I have two DVD writers and 3 HDD's. (250GB, 400GB, 500GB I can reuse as well)
