Hello!
I'm in the market for a new lappy (but I'll post on the appropriate thread for that)
One of the things I'm looking for though is a laptop with built in apt-x
-for those who are not familiar- it a fairly new (~1 1/2 years comecially I'm guessin) technology that delivers cd-quality music and sound through Bluetooth (vs the subpar cassette-ish quality of the standard a2dp) and is very very close to wired headphones. It has a high level of coding and high quality bit rates. And the lossless supports up to 96khz sampling (all through Bluetooth which is very impressive)
It's a shame even the newer apple products don't support it and using a dongle (from jaybird, sennheiser, and the likes) isn't really ideal.
The Samsung galaxy s3 has it built in among some others but Im having a hard time finding if newer laptop have apt-x built in.
So anyone know of any built in?
Thanks again!!

Is there any way to tell if a computer has Apt-X loaded in the Bluetooth stack?

Wouldn't a dongle enable you to choose whatever laptop you want? Sounds like the easiest solutution imo.
