    Hi all,

I would like to share with you my issu with the built in webcam and know if you had the same problem.

The built-in webcam works fine right after installing windows but then, it stops working and I windows doesn't detects the camera.

I don't know why it's happening. I tryed to reainstall all drivers, restored the windows and I don't get it to work again.

    Does anyone have idea?

What laptop is this? It's possible that the internal cable that connects the camera is loose or damaged.

    Its the VPCSE16FX.

How does the camera is installed usually? Does it need a driver or it's automatically detected and installed by windows with generic drivers?

Very generally, the camera is detected automatically and installed with generic windows drivers.
