    Hey.

I'm looking to buy ~256gb mSATA SSD and after searching around it seems like Plextor M5M is the way to go.
During my search I also saw recent news about M6 SSD and therefore I'm not sure if I should buy the M5M now, or wait for the M6. (I'm not sure if it worth the wait, and if it is even on the same class/target audience as the M5M) .

    Can anyone help?

Keep in mind if will be more expensive, though I am not sure if they are having any new tech.

The 256 M5M is a great drive. There will always be something else coming down the pike, though it's difficult to predict just when an M6M would hit the market. You can get the m5m now through amazon for $189, which is an excellent price/performance deal. It also depends on what you'll be using it for. For all but the heaviest workloads, I doubt there will be a noticeable speed difference between current models and the next generation.
