So my question is basically wether I should buy the SSD myself - with newegg etc - or opting for it while building my laptop with an online reseller. It is valid to say that the resellers only offer Crucial m4 and intel 520 (both are about $30 more expensive with reseller) and that I have no idea on how to install it myself, but if it is something fairly easy I can do it (at least try). Also I am not sure if these two brands are the best so if anyone can recommend something better I will be very thankful. Thank you all!

Replacing the hard drive on a notebook usually is pretty easy to do. It's a cinch on my Clevo's. But I'm sure it would be the same for your notebook. As to cost, in general, I would think you would get a slightly better deal from NewEgg or similar independent source form the reseller, but I'll honestly say I can't be sure. You online reseller may yet have the better deal. As to the best SSD's, my biggest criteria has always been thru-put speed (Read/Write Speed), for the type of work I do. I would recommend definitely the Intels. There's no question they're the best, but they are a little pricey. The OCZ Vertex series actually comes the closest to the Intels and they are cheaper. The others tend to be a step behind, mainly in Write speeds, but read speeds tend to be not lagging that far behind the intels. It depends on your usage. If you aren't looking for blazing thru-put read/write, the crucial and others may do you just fine. You might want to look at this comparison and see if it might give you the information you're looking for: What’s the Best SSD? 5 Drives Tested. I hope that helps you.

DIY SSD

Cheaper
Choice (the m4 is intel 520 is known for realiblity and the intel 520 is one of the fastest drive around)
Con:
Time
Critical question: Do you mind re installing windows?
Most hard drive swap is fairly easy. -
I'd buy it aftermarket. It's dead simple to install your own SSD, and you save money while doing so. I'd stick to Crucial, Plextor, Intel, or Samsung only.

Thank you for all the info guys! I really apreciate it!
Buy SSD by my own or already installed by computer reseller.
