A question for everyone!
Anyone purchase a processor from China? Off E-Bay?
Just wondering, the cost is decent!
Thanks in advance!

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
Never had a problem with eBay processors. Never bought one from China (though I've bought other stuff from China without a problem), though every processor should be the same no matter from where it's been bought. For the most part, just make sure you buy something with some guarantee that it will work; in the worst case scenario you can always hassle Paypal for your money back if the item is defective.

As long as you buy from a seller who has great feedback (98%-100%), Paypal should protect you in the event that you do get a faulty processor. However, be prepared for a long wait as Paypal's claims department usually does take a good while to sort things out.
I haven't heard anything all too negative about buying processors on eBay. The prices there are competitive and usually a bit better then computer online retailers such as newegg.
I would check around the web (slickdeals.net) and see if you can find an online retailer who has just as good or better prices then eBay. -
I got my T8300 off e-bay for a great price, but was from Canada, not China.
As with all e-bay purchases, scrutinize the seller's feedback and ensure you are protected in case something goes awry. -
I bought my 2.0 core 2 on ebay. Came quick and worked great.

I got my T7400 and T7200 off ebay. Very good prices, seller was from China, shipping was pretty fast (all things considered), tracking worked as well as an item in Canada. All in all, i would do it again.

Just make sure the seller is reputable. -
Bought my T8300 from Australia, no problems.
Well, the nimrod shipped the thing by letterpost, but it was well-packaged. -
The person I used has a 100% rating. Seems good, and has a decent return policy. We'll see. I'll keep you posted.
