My HP Pavillion dv9700 notebook's optical drive with Lightscribe logo no longer permits Lightscribe to work. It's been a few months since I last used that feature, during which time I have made a few software changes, so I'm wondering if these might cause this problem. My OS is Vista Ultimate 32 bit (full retail) with all current MS updates, and I have been using Lightscribe's Template Labeler V 1.18.5.1.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I will have to leave this site from time to time, but I will check for responses as often as I can.
