Alright well I have my hp dv7t for about 2 and a half months now and I love it however within the past 2 days my CD drive has been acting funky. When closed it still has a bit of wiggle room that it can be pushed in a tiny bit and what not which was fine I didn't care, it has become a problem now however because if it gets pushed in at all it ejects the tray. So now if i bump the tray at all and it gets pushed in the slightest bit it ejects the cd tray. which is obviously a problem. Does anyone else have this problem or know of a fix for this or am I going to have to send this back?
NEW UPDATES
EDIT: Alright well after a while I thought I had it solved by updating software but its been happening again and now I think I figured out when it happens. When I plug in my charging cable my cd drive either boots the cd or ejects the tray and I've tested by pulling it out and putting it back in and every time it makes the cd drive go crazy. Any advice?

Well an update I must have been mistaken it has to be windows or the drivers for the cd drive cause it just loaded up the cd without me even touching the computer so this must be a software issue now. So if a mod could please move this and if I could get some ideas on whats goign on that would be great

Ugh well now its acting up and im not even doing anything it just keep booting the CD and I'm not doing anything to the wires or even like touching the computer but tis booting up the cd

It is not a software issue, it is a hardware issue.
Something inside the optical drive is not working.
It's possible spring for retracting the drive is to weak. Or the eject button is busted
Call HP ask them to send you out a replacement optical drive.
