    CDs Not working

    I've burned some DVDs using windows burner, the discs can be read fine but data transfer from them is unbelievably slow, any idea what it can be :confused: ?

    How slow? .................. and what are you trying to do specifically?

    some drives require that the disk be finalized or at least have the last session closed before they can be read at full speed or just read period.

    Check and make sure the mode is set to DMA

    Go to control panel>device manager

    Open up the IDE ATA/ATAPI contollers tab
    Right-click on each one and make sure DMA is enabled

    That can be one of the reason for slow data transfer
