I was looking at the new Mobile i3 processors and noticed that the clock speeds on the i3-330M and i3-330E were the same, however the i3-330E is listed as embedded but the i3-330M isn't? What does embedded actually indicate?

I believe this means that it's only available with a BGA package. Why not just use the BGA variant of the 330M? That I don't know...

So is a CPU not being embedded means its better in someway as opposed to being embedded?

No, I'm pretty sure it's the same chip with the same performance. It's just a matter of how Intel wants to make SKUs and all.
