Intel Dynamic FSB Frequency Switching ( Dynamic FSB: Yes - Enabled)
So, FSB = 100MHz
Therefore, 100*8 = 800MHz
Run Orthos, Prime95 (small FFTs), and the frequency should go up.
Its all part of Intel's CPU features, to make CPUs more energy efficient. (Lower CPU/FSB frequency - Lower Power Consumption) -
i'm slightly embarressed now x.x i forgot that the last time i used my laptop (4 months ago) i put it on power saver... thanks for the help
