    I have a m1330 xps with a t5250 and i was wondering if the t7100 processor from my e1705 woud swap in. If so how much work am i looking at to do the swap?? Thanks, Robert

    Since they both use Socket P, yes it will work. I'm not familiar with the internal design of the m1330 but be prepared to open it all the way to find and replace it. Also, doing this will void your warranty if you didn't already know.

    Are both santa rosa? I think so it shouldn't be a problem.
    It's not hard to swap, but will likely void the warranty
