This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I currently have a Banias 1.3 processor and was wondering if my MB would accept a Dothan 1.8.
    Has anybody upgraded an IBM laptop MB from a first generation M (Banias) processor to a second (Dothan) generation one?
