    Hey guys I'm wondering what kidn of Processor upgrade a IBM T400 can accept... Is it only Core 2 Duo Processors? Or can it accept I5 or I7?

    Only Socket P C2D. And probably only 35W parts at that. All of the Ci3/5/7 processors use a different socket.

    noooooo!!!! ok. thanks a lot for your help. I gota P8700 should do all of the jobs fine for me. I was just gonna upgrade i5 since it was $140-146.
