    Opinions please:

For movie watching, some fairly intense image processing, the usual office applications, and just medium level gaming, would there likely be much percieved difference between the AMD Turion TL60 and the Intel T5750?
In my price range it looks like it comes down to these two choices (most likely) Let's assume both have 3 gigs DDR2 RAM.

I suggest the t5750 hands down. You probably won't notice a difference when doing basic things though.

Thank You. That would definitely help narrow down the things to look at.
I am trying to find something that will be close to my Desktop which has the AMD 64X2 6000 (I think), Black Edition, with 4 gigs Dual Channel DDR2 RAM at 800 mHz. There is a dedicated Video card which has 512MB memory
I realize that for a laptop in my price range, the dedicated memory is one thing I can't get though.

What is your price range? The Intel stand alone will have advantage, also will have heat and power draw advantages.
But no component in any system is truly isolated when running applications.

The AMD running same speed RAM will have higher bandwidth and it may even be able to run PC6400 at speed so even more bandwidth advantage. Some IGP solutions are better than Intel X3100 and remember that increased RAM bandwidth would not hurt IGP with no on board memory? Now would it?
