    I was wondering which cpu i was thinking about getting a sager laptop with either a q6600 2.4 quad core or one of the new penryn's the t9300 which is a 2.5 dual core. Which one do u suggest?

    Idk why you would need 4 cores unless you do heavy heavy multitasking. Plus, the dual core t9300 will run cooler and is slightly faster, so I would get that.

    I'd go for the T9300 as well. If you really want a mobile quad-core, I'd wait for the Intel's QX9300. Downside is that it may not be out for a while and will probably cost a fortune.
