I removed the stock 5450 and installed a T7500. Everything is working great except when I look in device manager and go down to processors it still says 5450 1.67....Any idea why? I have restarted the computer a couple times. Thanks guys

Did you do a bios restart? Give it a "Restore Defaults", let it go into Windows, then restart and make whatever changes in bios you might want.

Use cpuz to accurately determine what cpu you have. If that sees the correct info then that's all you need.

Ok I think one guy had the exact same problem and very easy fix. Uninstall the CPU drivers, then restart. This will force Windows to reinstall the drivers and will accurately detect the CPU. It does not automatically do this as CPU upgrade is not something Windows expects to need to check everytime it starts, I mean if it works it thinks what's the problem? Trust me on this!

Edit: Oh and I doubt BIOS as all programs you mentioned accurately see, if BIOS problem would not be like that.
