I have bought the CHILIGREEN D400k notebook almost 2years ago from a Slovenian company called ANNI and I am very satisfied with it and I also like the fact that it works great under LINUX too.
But lately I have been informed that this computer should be able to decrease/increase CPU speed and voltage by so called ‘performance demand’. But at least on my notebook it doesn’t.

I have WinXP with all the drivers installed.

Ps. Until this issue is resolved I’ve been forced to use a program called RMCLOCK to do the above thing.
ps2. I also attach the specs of this notebook thru an utility called CPU-Z

RMClock is a much better choice than window's power options. In order to have Windows change the multiplier of the CPU, your Power Option has to be set to Portable/Laptop. Since you have Sempron, I can assure you that Windows can handle it, just set the power options right and observe in CPUz (not My computer as it is known to have issues with CPU throttling)
