This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I'm sort of out of the loop regarding CPUs in laptops. For example, I don't even know if Centrino is better than Core Duo2, or if Intel is still better than AMD!
    Can someone inform me on which are the best ones now? Maybe write a hierarchy list?

    NOTE: I'm gonna use my laptop mostly for creative design work (Adobe CS) and music/audio production.
