I was wondering if anyone knew of any programs for windows that will show a reliable CPU temp for the computer. So far all of the programs I have tried only show me the HDD temp.

Mobile Meter, NHC, AMD Dashboard probably the most reliable to check CPU temperatures. Reliable readings depends on the laptop settings. If the manufacturer screws up on this most programs wont be able to read it correctly. If you happen to have a newer HP/Compaq, Toshiba laptops, then most likely none of the programs will be able to read the CPU temperatues.

SpeedFan is another decent one...kinda archaic in the labeling but works nonetheless. I also second miner on AMD Dashboard...great little program.

I use mobilememter. It shows us the cpu & hd temp. I don't dare it very good, but it works fine.
