    CPU temperature reading tweak

    Usually thermocouples mounted on copper arms at mid points.
    This is to get average temp reading along the copper arm.

    You will read lower temps as you move further away from the CPU.
    If you move the thermocouple further away from the CPU on the copper arm
    (as I did), temperature readings will be lower so the actual fan kick off temps
    will be tweaked. And thus less fan work.
    I got ~2 oC less than the previous.

    If you mount the thermocouple closer to then the fan will work harder.
    Thus cooler CPU.

    That would depend heavily on which sensors were controlling the fan. A lot of notebooks take temperatures directly from the northbridge or CPU, so moving the thermocouple embedded in those chips is somewhat impractical.
