I just bought a Gateway UC7308U from Office Depot on sale and was curious what the fastest CPU I could upgrade this machine to. It currently has a T3400 in it.

    Processor IntelĀ® PentiumĀ® Dual-Core T3400 Mobile Processor1 (2.16GHz, 667MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache)

    Running Vista Home Premium

    Thanks!

You should have a 45-Series chipset and should subsequently be able to use any of the usual Socket P processors up through the T9800 (or T9900 if you can find it). Extremes and Quads might work, but it's not guaranteed (and I'd say probably not for this machine, but you never know).
