    Hello!
I have a Dynabook V9 which is a japanise original of Toshiba M 30, and I know that I can upgrade my proccesor. Currently I am running on 1.4Ghz Dothan 400Mhz FSB Pentium M processor. I would like to upgrade to a faster one, perhaps the 1.8 or 2.0, which also have 2MB instead of 1MB cache on them.
My concern is the heat produced by the proccesor, would I have to get a more powerfull fan, or you think if I get the 1.8 Pentium M it would work just as well without harming the motherboard?
    Please HELP!

    Aleks.

I'm looking into upgrading the processor on my notebook too. I have a M35x. Have you found any guides for opening up Toshiba notebooks?

Upgrade the hard drive first to a 7200RPM drive. If all you are doing is surfing, office or playing mp3s you are not going to notice much of a difference.
