    CPU upgrades on gateways

    I came across this laptop ( http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodd...25254&PCName=laptop_gateway&logon=&langid=EN# ) and was wondering how hard it is to upgrade the cpu and how much it'd be? I've never played with laptops before but have done some stuff on desktops and am relatively mechanically inclined. Would the CPU affect game performance that much are should I still be able to run newer games, just not on high settings. The other laptops I was looking at would be dells 1530XPS and the 1720 for around $1500 = T7500 CPU's and 256 G8600 GT GPU's. (As an aside I thought I saw on these boards people saying the Dell's have DDR3 GPU's but the site says DDR2, whats the answer) Also I was wondering if RAM upgrades affect warrenties, I'm guessing CPU upgrades would for sure. I know this was a long ramble but any help people could give would be appreciated.

    Also could you upgrade to penryn CPU's in the future?
