    Just a update, CPU-Z was updated.
    It now includes detection of virtualisation instruction as well as a few changes in instruction set nomenclature.

    The web site seems to still be offering 1.53 which came out December 20th. Where did you find an update? Or is it a Linux update?

    My problem with the current CPU-Z is that it interferes with use of the laptop...

    I think 1.4 odd you could run alongside anything else - e.g. audio
    The newer ones - your audio lags...
