I tried doing quite a lot of research online, and it seems that the 2 and 4gb modules will need to have the ICH9 Southbridge rather than the ICH8 in the i965 although I'm not 100% sure. I don't really see why it wouldn't work. Does anyone have any conclusive evidence?

I don't have that much information on Turbo Memory since it's a fairly useless feature, but one reason it may not allow 4GB of TM is because a lot of times BIOS will not see more than the specific amount. Usually that's more with RAM, but I could see it applying with TM, as well.

As for Santa Rosa's platform using a specific amount, I cannot address that.
