Hey All,
Seeking a bit of advice.
Just picked up a laptop, and am curious if I can get a bit more juice out of it. It is a HP Pavillion dv1000. I have just ordered more ram. Now I am curious if I can pinmod or OC this bad larry. My searches have brought up some disjointed and conflicting results. Any expertise here would be appreciated!
Here is my CPUz stuff:

nice. Does Anyone have any resources which I can use to perform this mod. The more specific they are to my HP Pavillion DV1000, 1.6 celeron the better.
Thanks! -
Here's a Pin-Mod Guide from awhile back.
The key is that you must have a 915 (Sonoma) chipset version of the dv1000, and you have to have a 7x5 processor (natively 400mhz FSB).
I've done this to my old dv1000 (yes I had one some time ago, and I think I was the first ones to do the pin-mod to it) and my W3V which is still kicking.
Can I Pin Mod My Laptop
