I have a Dv2000 laptop with AMD Turion 64 2.0 ghz processor. I think it is possible to switch the processor to a dual core AMD Turion 64 x2 processor. So is it possible and is it worth it? The price is not a problem since ive seen many on ebay. Thanks in advance.

If it's possible I don't know, if it's worth, definitely! You will get a big boost on mostly everything your doing on the laptop. But what kind of CPUs have you spotted?
