I had a screw snap off from overtightening on the CPU after a re-paste I did... lol just need to thread out the broken screw or if not possible order a new heatsink for my model, where does one go for that?
does anyone special in special made heatsink replacements? i'd like to buy one that is better anyway. i know that probably doesn't exist though.
Clevo P670HS-G is my model number. for now im content with downclocking to 3.3 ghz all 4 cores no downclocking and temps don't break 70 celsius. so guess i should count myself look, could have been worse heh

I don't know if @woodzstack has some around tho, he might.KY_BULLET likes this. -
Eurocom typically sells individual parts and upgraded parts for Clevo.
Maybe try them out. @Eurocom Support -
Thanks you two, I will send out the bat signal to all 3 sources. lol
i just realized a new heatsink won't matter the though, because the screw that torn off is not on the heatsink, its on the actual mobo itself... crap. ; ; -
It will take some brass spheres, but they make screw extractor sets that *sometimes* work. Basically, you hope to drill a small hole in the screw (ideally you can mill/file a small flat before you try drilling), then use a slightly larger left-handed spiral drill-looking bit in the hole to *hopefully* spin it out.
