    Your best bet is to remove your current drive (usually about 2 screws) and compare the data/power interface to others.

    A good rule of thumb, when it comes to computers, If you can remove it from the motherboard without desoldering, chances are, you can replace it / upgrade it (unless it's maxxed out, as in, you already have the most powerful cpu for the socket, etc, etc)

    I always wanted a slot load drive on my laptop ever since i got a ps3 i thought they looked better. :D
