    Hi, I've got a Toshiba M115-S3094 with a Core Duo T2050 1.60ghz processor.

Someone at work gave me a Core 2 Duo E6400 2.13Ghz Processor (score!) .

Can I just swap that baby in? I've taken apart a million laptops, but am relatively unfamiliar with the Cores, etc, and the 37 threads I read seemed to address simliar, but not identical problems.

    Thank you!

No...that is a desktop processor that runs too hot for a small laptop and has a different pin layout. Same family, but they're cousins.

    NO!

You will melt your laptop, and it wont fit.
