my laptop has no batteries in it at the moment. just make sure you take them out when its turned off, then put it on AC and turn it on.

im pretty sure it makes your batteries last longer not sure tho

I think it is not an issue removing when plugged in. On this I have no special knowledge but have done without issue.

It's safer to turn off your laptop, unplug the AC, and then remove the battery. You risk getting shocked when you remove the battery with the laptop on or plugged in. The risk might not be high, but I think it's better to be on the safe side.

Been doing it few times a week for the last few months. My batteries are not the best since they're 18 months old. But have not had any issues with the laptop.

Just make sure the power connection does not pop loose when you flip the laptop over otherwise you'll be very surprised by the blank screen after you pull the battery & flip the laptop right side up.

Batterys are hotplugs. they can be taken in and out even when powered on. Ive been doing it for a long time..

but to be cautious, try and do it when the notebook is powered off
