Your laptop is compatible with SATA 300 devices, yes.
A 7200RPM drive should not affect your battery life. -
I don't think this statement is true. Checkout the power consumption chart for the 7200rpm drives, which is higher than the 5400rpm ones.:

I'm looking at it, it appears to be .9 vs 1.1. Two tenths of a Whr is not going to significantly affect battery life.

I agree there's not much difference when the HDD is on idle, but also look at the maximum power consumption. There can be 1 to 2W difference.
To estimate the possible difference do a simple calculation: Divide the battery capacity (Watt-hours) by the current run time hours) to get the average power drain (Watts). Then divide the battery capacity by the new current drain (old value plus 1W (as approximation)) to get the new run time in hours.

Thankyou for people who reply knowleade for me
power on 5400/7200 is a little problem for me but price in thailand is very high for 7200 and not to easy for buy coz by order only. -
Almost no one uses their HDD at maximum load constantly, which is why it doesn't make much of a difference to battery life. It's unlikely you'd be doing any encoding/decoding or video editing on battery that would run the HDD at max constantly.

The thoroughput of the 5400rpm drives is close to that of the 7200rpm drives but the access speeds of the 7200's are faster. Overall the 5400rpm drives draw slightly less power and are cheaper so for value you should definitely go for the 5400rpm drives. The difference in battery life will not be that much noticeable even if you have applications that constantly access the hard drive.
