Hi NBR.
I found an old broken PSU so I decided to open it, maybe I can find anything interesting. ( I was bored)
Here is what I found :

Sorry for bad quality, mobile camera.
My question is, IF I find enough space to stick this to the heatsink, will it cool down temps ? Oh and how do I stick it ?
Thanks in advance.

not really. Better solution would be if you lift up your laptop on two pencils

Given your system (Dell Inspiron right?), there isn't much you can do, you'll have to live with it.

Ok
Thanks.

If there's room, it may help a little. You'd need to get some airflow over it. You can get some double stick thermal tape to attach it.

I use large erasers to prop my laptops up. Definitely a noticeable tempurature difference, around 5C.

Yes definitely a consideration too. Most laptops by propping them up an inch will reduce temps by at least several deg C.
Can I use this to cool down the CPU ?
