    Going to be getting a Dell Inspirion 1720 with Just 1GB
    What The Highest speed Can I get for ram?
    800Mhz or still just 667mhz.

    It will be limited to 667 MHz, which is the maximum the Santa Rosa platform supports.

    Only if it is somehow cheaper, or you plan on using the RAM in the future with another (faster) PC.
