    Can Optiarc AD-7563A burn on a DVD-R DL???

    I really don't know myself and can't really understand the specs and junk. I want to know if I can stop reducing the quality of movies and burn them on DVD DL (dual layer).

    I cannot find anything on the internet, but there is one way to find out without burning a disc.
    Do you have a copy of Nero?
    If you do, than open the Nero StartSmart Essentials program, and go to the "extras" tab. Than select "Get System Information"

    Then the system will test read the drive, and give you a detailed explanation of what the burner can burn and what it cannot burn.
