There has been such enthusiasm about this all through January since CES 2019. But, it appears like there has been nothing but silence on the subject between after January and now. OLED options were supposed to be available in March. Here we are in May. So I decided to do some Googling so I can find out what unexpected manufacturing development(s) put this on hold, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know how much longer before they become available, how much extra this would contribute to the cost of existing laptops, and if this is even still going to happen any time soon? Also, considering even high quality LCD panels are less expensive than OLED panels, are they going to replace high quality LCD panels with inferior ones as a way of forcing us to upgrade to OLED if we crave quality badly enough?
