    I have a ZV5209AP, it has Celeron Northwood 2.8G.

I am thinking of upgrading my CPU, I wish to know if my motherboard supports Pentium M 4 processors?

    Thanks!

It should, ofcourse I cannot gurantee it but given the specs, a Northwood Pentium 4M should be compatible, otherwise you can also use regular Northwood Pentium 4's(these are what HP probably used in their zv5000 series laptops)

P4Ms as far as I know are prescott ... mine is!
If you want to upgrade I would stick with some option that they offered in that model (Not familliar with HP/Compaq), or at least something that is identical in core just at a faster speed. Because you have to worry about BIOS compatibility ... that should be you main concern!
