Hi one of my laptops has had two motherboards die and I was wondering if the PSU had an unknown fault due to age, could it contribute to this..? The psu is like 3 yrs old but "looks" in ok shape and there isnt any weird noises coming from it.. Would it be worth replacing just to be safe or am I worrying for nothing?

Is this a known issue with your laptop? Is there anyway to test your PSU independantly?

Don't replace parts on whim... do some research first.
